1. ルーキー枠（男子と女子）は2005年1月1日から2007年12月31日生まれの選手。
2. グロム枠（男子と女子）は2008年1月1日生まれ以降の選手。
3. 最終戦開催の4日前までのワールドルーキーランキングから20名の選手（男子上位20、女子上位20）。これに加えグロムランキングから上位10名の選手。
4. 国協会枠：WSF加盟国協会（国内はJSBA）はルーキー男子２名、ルーキー女子１名、グロム男子１名、グロム女子１名を推薦できる。　
5. 開催されたルーキー国際大会のルーキー男女、グロム男女上位３位の選手たちはワールドルーキー最終戦大会に参加権を有する。
6. ワイルドカード：ワールドルーキーフェス大会運営実行委員会は提携大会、チーム、スポンサー、あるいは選手の推薦によって最大８名までのワイルドカード枠を行使できる。
7. 国協会事務局あるいは代表コーチ（＊）により大会申し込みが可能。
8. ワールドルーキー最終戦３位内の選手は該当年齢枠に参加権を有する。

＊弊会は国協会代表コーチを有せず。

• Rookies (men and women) born from the 1st of January 2005 to the 31st of December 2007.
• Groms (men and women) born from the the 1st of January 2008 and younger.
• Qualification by Rank: the top 20 riders of the World Rookie Rank (top 20 man, top 20 women) + the top 10 riders from the Grom rank at 4 days before the beginning of WRT Finals. You can check the ranking here.
• National Quota: every WSF member National Snowboard Association is entitled to nominate 2 Rookies Men, 1 Rookie Women, 1 Grom Men, 1 Grom Women. It´s up to the national association to define how they give out the spots. To get in touch with your national reference contact please write to registration@worldrookietour.com.
• The top 3 riders, both men and women / Rookie and Grom, from the previous international stops are already qualified to the World Rookie Finals.
• Wild Cards: the organization can assign up to 8 wild cards for the final to partner events, team, sponsor or single athletes.
• National secretary or national coaches are allowed to send their team registrations.
• All World Rookie Finals podium riders from previous season, are already qualified to the next World Rookie Finals (if they are still in age to compete in the WRT).
